Short Poem #3: Fourteen Days

Fourteen lonely days it will be without you here beside me
I miss you every second, every moment, every tear
You are busy, i know it and I'll just be a distraction
To the important things you need to accomplish

But I can't help but think of how much i love you
And how my heart yearns for you
This feeling of waiting and waiting and waiting
My chest aches just thinking of you not being here

I am patient, I can wait. It's just this waiting is painful
Not being able to see you, to hear you're voice
My heart is in pain, i feel my heart beat going weaker
Only with you is my heart safe from the yearning that i linger

I choose to be waiting, because waiting is all i can offer
These fourteen lonely days i will yearn for you
Just waiting and waiting
Just to be with you once more

Short Poem #2: Tears

How cold you make me feel when you push me away
I miss you already, can i ask you to stay
Everyday without you is one tearful memory
Just hoping and hoping for you to come back to me

My mind wonders, will i ever see you again?
Just these thoughts make me cry
I need you here with me
So my tears will never appear
